WHAT IS A WIREFRAME?
According to Wikipedia, a wireframe ‘is a visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a website.’ (2011)
A wireframe can be made from a brief that the client has given. It allows a brand to create a ‘mock-up’ and is similar to a blueprint design that would be created in construction. It allows the web designer to showcase the product to the client before the actual real work of creating the website is done.
Wikipedia also states the three main elements that should be included when creating a wireframe. They are; information design, navigation design and interface design.
